Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, TV host and performer most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl is the product of an extremely troubled family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie, who had polio. When she was a kid, her relationships with her mother were rocky. Sheryl says that her mother had a time when she stabbed her father because he was too close. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from university. Her interest was in comedy. She was chosen as the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992, she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In the past, she has been host of The Talk since 2011. In addition, she has played a fictional character in shows such as Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
