Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show The Talk. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. Sheryl was a part of her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie with polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing to. Sheryl states that one time her mother cut her dad for being too close to him. After her graduation from college, Sheryl was a soldier in the military. However, her love for comedy was always there. She became the very first female winner of the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career started in 1992 when she was a guest actor on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she's a cohost of the Talk show. In addition she has also been in fictional roles on shows such as Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
